About US

Christian Haasis, Kristy’s great-grandfather, founded the original Haasis Bakery in the Germantown section of Philadelphia in 1899. Haasis Gluten Free Bakery uses these original recipes converted to be gluten, nut, and dye free.

Our space is 100% gluten, nut, and dye free, so there are never concerns about cross contact. Also, in addition to the standard ServSafe Food Handler certification, Kristy has completed the special ServSafe Allergen Certification. All ingredients are certified free of the allergens specified, with spec sheets available upon request. We use fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. We use Tanner Brothers butter, cream, eggs, and milk; Hershey's cocoa; flour is made by Blends By Orly, which is based in NJ. We also use organic sugar.
